Prime 1 Studio presents Batman VS Clayface from Batman (Comics), a 1/4 scale statue in the Ultimate Premium Masterline, reimagining a variant cover by DC Comics legend Jim Lee.

Dreaming once again of success as an actor, Basil Karlo heads to Los Angeles under a new identity. From one of the stories in Batman – One Bad Day, which explores his madness and inner turmoil, Clayface surges forward with his massive body of living mud while Batman struggles against him with all his strength, captured in full at 1/4 scale and reaching over 80 cm tall.

This Batman VS Clayface statue sculpts Clayface with the flowing movement of mud in mind, translating the linework of the original art into three dimensions, while the paintwork gives a realistic sense of wetness. Countless faces emerge across his body, and LED illumination in his eyes and mouth heightens his unsettling presence. Batman is finished with equal care, from his desperate expression and fabric-like costume to the Batarang embedded in the muddy Batman themed base.

At up to 89 cm tall, Batman VS Clayface is too tall for the 76 cm interior of the Max70 Plus and Max140 Plus. It fits a Moducase Max150, which gives a 66 × 66 cm interior and 143 cm of internal height for its 63 × 61 cm base, and holds up to 70 kg. LED lighting in the case works with Clayface’s glowing eyes and mouth. Moducase panels are not UV-protective, so we recommend keeping your display out of direct sunlight.
