The statue captures Sauron in a towering stance, clad in spiked black armour with intricate engravings, wielding his giant mace, with a flowing cape and the One Ring on his gloved hand. Every piece is hand-painted. He stands atop a dramatic base inspired by the lava-choked ruins of Mount Doom and Barad-dûr, and the fiery Eye of Sauron can be seen from the back, a detail that rewards a display you can view from all sides. At around 36cm tall, Sauron fits comfortably in a Moducase Sixth55, which gives 45cm of internal height. Because the Eye of Sauron is on the back of the base, a case with clear side panels and LED lighting lets you see the detail from more than one angle.
